NEWS: Snacks now in the library
Need a quick but healthy snack? Check out the new "Fresh Vending" machine in the tower room on the main floor of Miller Informations Commons! You will find a healthy mix of chips, snacks, yogurt, and -- of course! -- chocolate to choose from. The Fresh Vending system accepts cash, credit, and debit cards. Let us know what you think!

NEWS: Library renovations in progress
New paint and carpet are coming to the main and 2nd floors of Miller Information Commons this summer! Both the main floor and the 2nd floor will be disrupted by these improvements, but the results will be worth the temporary inconvenience. Currently, the main floor is in progress, but computers and seating are available on other floors of the building. We apologize for any inconvenience, and invite you to view our fresh new look this fall.

DISPLAY: Happy Fourth of July
In celebration of the Fourth of July, we have created a display of some wonderful books about our founding fathers and the U.S. Constitution. Books about George Washington, Ben Franklin, James Madison and Alexander Hamilton are on display at the Miller Information Commons circulation desk. What a great time of year to read about some great people in American history! Enjoy

NEWS: Burkhardt named Academic Library Blog of the year!
Emerging Technologies Librarian Andy Burkhardt has been named Academic Library Blog winner in the Salem Press 2011 Library Blog Awards! Describing Andy’s blog, Information Tyrannosaur, the panel of judges wrote: “Whatever the topic--technology in the service of education, social media, information literacy, new approaches to old library problems--Andy's posts always get to the heart of the matter. We enjoy his sincerity (‘Not everything has to be scholarly.’), his insistence on the ‘fun’ factor at the Reference Desk, and even his fascination with dinosaurs.”

Early closing May 26

Returning Library Books
Just a friendly reminder for students to return their library books, before they leave for the semester. We are open on Friday, April 29th until 9:00 p.m. We are closed on Saturday and Sunday, April 30th & May 1st. We will re-open at 8 a.m. on Monday, May 2nd.

Finally it is Spring time! What a great time of year to celebrate Poetry. April is National Poetry Month. The Miller Information Commons has an impressive collection of poetry.
