DISPLAY: John Updike

John Updike died on the 27th of this month from lung cancer. He was 76 years old. With over 50 books and hundreds of articles, Updike’s work has made a lasting impression on American letters. To commemorate Updike’s life, the Library has created a display of his books. Come check them out!

Display: Vermont Authors & Winter Sports

Welcome back! It's the beginning of spring semester '09 and whether you're hitting the books, or hitting the slopes, stop by the library and check out our displays on Vermont Authors Every Reader Should Know About,and winter sports.....and keep warm on these chilly Vermont winter days!

In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday, we have created a wonderful display of books in the front foyer display case of the Library. The display will be up for the remainder of January. Enjoy!

EVENT: Meaningful Books highlights Janice Gohm Webster

Professor Janice Gohm Webster, the 2008 recipient of the Lyman Award for Excellence in Teaching, will be sharing her Meaningful Books with us on Monday, Jan. 26th, 3:30 pm in the Miller Information Commons' Vista Room. Refreshments will be served.
