NEWS: Reception for "beaver collection"

Libraries are known for their great and diverse collections. Over the next few weeks, the Library is proud to display the famous "beaver collection" on loan from the President’s Office. So, to honor CC’s school mascot "Chauncey," and in the spirit of the season, the Library is hosting "Another Dam Reception" on Tuesday, December 13th at 1 p.m. in the MIC. Take a break from the pressures of the semester and join us as we celebrate our eclectic Castor canadensis collection. You’re never too busy for some mud pie and chocolate pretzel sticks! And don’t miss a guest appearance from our own Chauncey…….

NEWS: New Business databases!

Champlain College has just licensed two new databases that will be useful in business-related projects:

PrivCo:
PrivCo is the premiere source for business and financial data on major, non-publicly traded corporations, including family-owned, private equity-owned, venture-backed, and international unlisted companies.

Prendismo:
Prendismo offers over 15,000 video clips from experts broken into 200 topics, specifically focused on business, leadership and entrepreneurship.

Both databases are now available through the library website. (Hint: If these two new databases don’t appear when you go to the “Article Databases A-Z” or “Article Databases by Subject” pages, on the library website, be sure to refresh or “reload” the page. Many browsers cache a copy of webpages, and you may be seeing an outdated copy rather than the latest version.)
