DISPLAY:Lake Champlain Quadricentennial

In celebration of the 400 years since Samuel de Champlain's travels to Lake Champlain, the Champlain College Library has created several displays for you to enjoy. We have gathered many wonderful books and artifacts which are on display in the Library main foyer display case as well as at different points on the first floor of the Library. DISPLAY: MAY is "Get Caught Reading" Month!

Have you ever been caught reading? We hope so! The library staff was photographed in various places - yes we were caught reading and we want to share those pictures and the books we were reading with you. All month long there will be a display in the main library foyer display case of library staff pictures and the terrific books they were caught reading. If you have a minute stop by and check it out! Display & Event: 2nd Annual International Photo Contest

Books on photography and world cultures come together in this library exhibit assembled in conjunction with the 2nd Annual International Photo Contest being held at the Miller Information Commons. Photographs are currently on display. Prizes will be awarded on Tuesday, April 21st, from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. in the MIC. Refreshments.

DISPLAY: Dreaming of Paradise

Webster defines paradise as "any place of complete bliss and delight and peace." One might add, warm. Stop by the library and check out a collection of books on display that challenges Webster's definition--paradise: lost or found? myth or reality?

From traveling into space to serving in government, women have long played important roles in society. In honor of Women's History Month we have created a display about many different women in history and their contributions. We have a great selection of books on women!
