Library in the News!

It's our week to be in the news! The Champlain College Library was featured in a story on NECN for receiving the ACRL Excellence in College Libraries award.  For additional coverage of the award, including the Burlington Free Press and WPTZ as well as photos from the reception, see the library website.

The library's "Puppies for stress reduction" event is also online at WCAX, and see photos on Picasa.

Thanks for helping us create such outstanding programs!

Library Party!!! Monday, April 16th

Champlain students are excellent! And our library just won the ACRL Excellence in Academic Libraries award. Let's celebrate our mutual excellence together. Join us Monday, April 16th from 4-5:15pm on the first floor of the library for this party of excellence. It's pretty much like winning the Superbowl of academic libraries so there will be music, we'll be giving out food, swag, and students can enter to win a Nook e-reader! Don't miss this event. After all, there "ain't no party like a library party."

DISPLAY: Annual International Photo Contest

Be sure to come in and view the International Photo competition submissions now on display on the main floor of the Miller Information Commons. And while you're here, don't forget to submit a vote for the "people's choice" award. You might also find a moment to browse through some of the books in our display on photography and place.

The library will host an awards reception to announce the winners on Wednesday, April 18th, from 2-3 on the main floor of the Miller Information Commons. All are welcome. Refreshments included!
