Display: Vermont Authors & Winter Sports
Welcome back! It's the beginning of spring semester '09 and whether you're hitting the books, or hitting the slopes, stop by the library and check out our displays on Vermont Authors Every Reader Should Know About,and winter sports.....and keep warm on these chilly Vermont winter days!
DISPLAY:Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday, we have created a wonderful display of books in the front foyer display case of the Library. The display will be up for the remainder of January. Enjoy!
EVENT: Meaningful Books highlights Janice Gohm Webster
Professor Janice Gohm Webster, the 2008 recipient of the Lyman Award for Excellence in Teaching, will be sharing her Meaningful Books with us on Monday, Jan. 26th, 3:30 pm in the Miller Information Commons' Vista Room. Refreshments will be served.

Display: Staff Pics from the Library
Not only can you find selections from Oprah's Book Club on display at the Library, but the library staff themselves have also selected "some" of the their favorite reads from the stacks here in the MIC, and those "pics" are on display as well. Stop by and take a peek at a very diverse collection of books that the library staff deem their "favorites." And don't forget to check out all of our virtual book displays on flickr.

DISPLAY:Snow
It's that time of year when many of us look forward to that wonderful white fluffy stuff we call Snow. There is a display in the Miller Information Commons main foyer display case celebrating snow. Check out the many wonderful books with the word "snow " in their title.
